Named after one of the best selling recording artists of all time, Whitney Houston. She was an American singer and actress who has influenced many singers and is still known for her powerful, soulful vocals skills. She was the first black woman to appear on the cover of Seventeen magazine.
She has received sevearl Emmy, Grammy, World Music, Billboard Awards and more, She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and still holds the record of the only artis to have seven consecutive number one singles on the charts. Whitney's accidental death in 2012 was a surprise to everyone especially since it coincided with the Grammy Awards which she was scheduled to attend. Houston is one of best vocalists of all time. She is an Icon!

Directions
